We Believe Every Student Can Succeed.
Our mission at Faith Hope & Love (FHL) is to mirror the love of Christ to inner-city children in the Charlotte area through spiritual & academic mentoring.
Our goal is that each child who enters FHL will achieve at or above grade level within 1 year of entry. Since inception in 1996, nearly 800 children succeeded in this goal, while 4 children left the program in less than 1 year. Thus, FHL has a nearly 100% success rate in helping children achieve grade level within 1 year.
More importantly, we have helped countless children grow deeper in their relationships with Christ, enabling them to weather the storms of their life and equipping them to become future leaders.
What We Do...
We mentor students K - 8th Grade children in all academic areas & in character building so that they may become successful members of the community. We also assist the parents by providing cooking classes, financial classes, parenting classes, and Bible Study.

Most of our students have little or no support at home and are very far behind scholastically. We work with both the student & family.

Zariah came to us in 2nd grade about to be held back. Our mentors realized that she just needed support so she could succeed. Zariah graduated this year as Salutatorian from 8th grade and is entering International Baccalaureate for High School.
One of our other 8th grade graduates is also entering IB. We work with the whole child so if they need counseling, we provide that or obtain that for them. We walk beside these families 24/7 for whatever the need – beds, food, transportation, etc.
